Moon Knight is the conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, and among his alternate identities is a museum worker named Steven Grant, who becomes Moon Knight when Grant is Khonshu's avatar.

Here we have the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, an outcast amongst the gods for waging a one god war on perceived injustices, thus necessitating him to find and use his avatar, Marc Spector.
