The franchise began as a manga series and later received anime adaptions that continued the long running story of the franchise, which includes Naruto: Shippuden and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

Haku was a mercenary ninja introduced early in the anime series, Naruto. When wandering around the cold streets looking for food in trash bins, he was taken in by a missing-nin by the name of Zabuza Momochi. He was then trained in the ways of the shinobi and assassination.
